The secondary combustion chamber injects air at the top of the fire, making sure as much combustion as possible happens before gasses leave the flue. This causes the stove to put off very little emissions out the flue, making it almost smokeless when operated correctly.
The air wash system above the door forces air down the backside of the glass preventing thick build up of creosote on the window.
The ash drawer also serves as the primary air intake that is adjustable with a solid brass spinner. This draws air into the bottom of the fire, ensuring start up is always a simple task. The ash drawer is removable, making cleanup and maintenance simple and tidy.
