I’ve spent most of my life skiing and snowboarding. Chairlifts have always part of the rhythm — cold mornings, quiet rides up, watching storms roll in, planning the next line. Those moments are my favorite. I’ve been doing general metal fabrication for ten years. I've learned a lot in these 10 years, but I’ve always leaned toward the creative side of metal working. I love to build pieces that have presence and enhance spaces. Alpenglow Ski Chair Co. is where those two worlds meet. Based in Whitefish, Montana, I build ski lift–inspired chairs entirely by hand. These pieces are built to live in real spaces and hold up for decades.You’ll find them in: Ski homes and mountain cabins, Airbnb and short-term rentals that want to stand out, Lodges and businesses, Retail spaces, brand activations and patios. They’re statement pieces, but they’re also functional. Built to be used, not just looked at. What I enjoy most is working directly with clients. Whether it’s dialing in custom finishes or crazy ideas - I like building something that fits the space and feels intentional — not off-the-shelf. At the end of the day, this is about craftsmanship, mountain culture, and building something solid enough to last — and unique enough to mean something.
